Barrels Across Texas is an inaugural fundraising event bringing together our local art and wine communities. Artists in various media were invited to donate their time and talents to transform a wine barrel into a one-of-kind artwork. The barrels are being showcased at different venues in and around Austin to promote the Festival, taking place April 16-19, 2009. The barrels will be auctioned off live at an event after the Festival, on April 30th. Proceeds will benefit the Texas Hill Country Wine and Food Festival, Dell Children’s Hospital, and the Capital Area Food Bank
