Saturday, February 9, 5-9 pm,  The Village of Salado invites you to its first annual “Salado on the Rocks.”

“Take life with a grain of salt, a slice of lime and a shot of Salado.”

This one-day event promises to satisfy all of your culinary delights from enjoying Salado signature tastings to enjoying local cuisine and late night shopping.

The “Salado on the Rocks” will be held throughout the Village of Salado. The following Salado stops are:

Salado Creek Winery where you will enjoy a Caprese Salad (Buffalo Mozzarella, Heirloom Tomato and Basil Drizzle) paired with their Salado Creek “Wine-tini.” At Alexander’s Distillery you will be treated to an Herb Crusted Carpaccio Crostini with Arugula and a hand blended Shallot and Thyme Vinaigrette paired with Truman’ Red Martini. At your next stop at The Range you will enjoy Crispy smoked Trout Brandade with Extra Virgin Olive Oil paired with the Famous Col. Spears Pan American Cocktail. Please enjoy a Diamond Back Red wine and handmade cheddar cheese at the Salado Wine Seller. At our newest tavern, The Shed, you will be served Frito Chili Pie with their very own Shed Lemonade. At our historic Stagecoach Inn you will be treated to their famous Salado Hushpuppies along with their Stagecoach Southern Iced Tea. At Rising Star Vineyards you will have Cajun Jambalaya in celebration of Mardi Gras month and Salado Wine Spritzers.

This is a ticketed event for $23.95 per person and only the first 400 lucky people will be able to attend this new event, so make your reservations early! Tickets must be purchased in advance at www.saladoevents.com.
