Property Purchased!

Sorry that I’m late in posting this, but we bought the land for Salado Winery!  It is located at 21724 Hill Road.  I am so excited!  I cannot wait to start planting grapes next spring.  Let me back up…

Just when I gave up hope, a new property became available.  The England family was selling their farm and when Bill Bartlett took me to see it, I fell in love with it.  He showed it to me in May 2004, but of course it took a few months to close and now its ours!  We’re very lucky, the property has been in England family for over 100 years and it is beautiful.  The property is on a hilltop with a view of I-35 both north and south and has easy access.  At night I can see the lights of Temple twinkling in the distance.  There is also an old fashioned well with a wind driven pump.
