Salado Music Weekend

Music Trail

 Friday, May 11

The two-day music weekend begins on Friday evening with a “Music Trail” from 6:45 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.  Explore Salado while sippin’ & groovin’!  For $29.95, you can enjoy 4 stops throughout the lovely Village of Salado.  Each location will feature a special drink, nibble and music that shows off the best that each has to offer.  The “Music Trail” will kick off here, where we’ll feature Dow Ferguson with classical music at the Salado Wine Seller; then on to jazz by Judith Miller at The Range Restaurant; Stefanie Fix with folk rock at The Apothecary and the trail ends with Mariachi Cocula at the Salado Patio.  Mmmm, obviously we’ll feature Texas wine, and you’ll just have to imagine the drinks that will be paired with all that great music elsewhere. Tempranillo Thursday

Which Tempranillo is best?

THURSDAY, April 19, 2012, 7pm

Ahhh, Tempranillo!  We’ve got several tempranillo wines left from the wine festival last month, so let’s get together, taste and decide which you like best?  Well, you’ll do the tasting and I’ll provide some cheese & crackers.  I’ll start with a very short lecture on tempranillo and then everyone gets to taste (except me).  Then get 10% off any bottles you purchase from the tasting.  I mean I’ll sell you unopened bottles at 10% off the price, not that I’ll give you the bottles you just tasted from with 10% of the wine missing!

$5 off for our Golden Grape Club members.  To learn more about our club, check out https://saladowinery.com/the-golden-grape-club/
