Thursday, May 10, 6:30 pm

breathe deeply, smell the wine, sip the wonderful

6:30 pm–A wonderful, full hour plus a wee bit more of an outstanding yoga class that will stretch each part of your body & soul. Unwind the mind, practice restorative poses, and receive cosmic goodness.

7:30 pm–A terrific, refreshing glass of locally made Texas wine accompanied by a happy plate of cheese and fruit. Reservations are encouraged so that the appropriate amount of food can be anticipated, but reservations are not required, so if moved by the spirit at the last minute, then come on down and join us!  Cost is $18 person or $30 couple.

Try out Tiffany’s yoga class during an Evening of Yoga & Wine, then contact Tiffany to find her other classes around Central Texas.  If you have a mat, please bring it, but if not, we have a few to lend out.  All levels are welcome and typically we have folks who have never done yoga and folks who are experienced.  Questions and so on, email [email protected].

We can also organize a special Evening of Yoga & Wine for your group.  Minimum 10 folks, this has worked well with a couple of mom’s clubs in the area.

Tempranillo Thursday

Which Tempranillo is best?

THURSDAY, April 19, 2012, 7pm

Ahhh, Tempranillo!  We’ve got several tempranillo wines left from the wine festival last month, so let’s get together, taste and decide which you like best?  Well, you’ll do the tasting and I’ll provide some cheese & crackers.  I’ll start with a very short lecture on tempranillo and then everyone gets to taste (except me).  Then get 10% off any bottles you purchase from the tasting.  I mean I’ll sell you unopened bottles at 10% off the price, not that I’ll give you the bottles you just tasted from with 10% of the wine missing!

$5 off for our Golden Grape Club members.  To learn more about our club, check out https://saladowinery.com/the-golden-grape-club/

Jammin’ on the Lawn

Live Music! Saturday, October 1st, 4-7 pm. Join us for some great music! It may be indoors since Texas has decided that it likes to stay 100 degrees.  Or maybe it will be indoors if we get that much needed rain.  Or maybe it will be outdoors and it will be beautiful autumn breezes.  In any case, feel free to bring some snacks (don’t bring alcohol though), bring some friends and enjoy some terrific music along with some great Texas wines.

Sons of Leisure will be playing!

We’re in Wine Enthusiast!

hard to believe, but our “Evening of Yoga and Wine” has been highlighted in a national wine publication, Wine Enthusiast!  You can see the online version of the article at http://www.winemag.com/Wine-Enthusiast-Magazine/Web-2011/Vines-and-Vinyasa/

Tough to pick me out in the picture, but I’m in black on the right hand side.  By the way, the picture was taken by Kays Photography & Design http://www.kaysphotography.net
