Fletcher’s Books and Antiques

Bookshelf from Fletcher's Books and AntiquesAs I was arranging the shop, I realized I needed more shelves.  I quickly ran over to Fletcher’s Books and Antiques where Tyler Fletcher found exactly what I was looking for.  Here it is:

So if you find yourself in need of just the right piece of furniture, go see Tyler over at Fletcher’s Books and Antiques.  If Tyler doesn’t have what you’re looking for, he’ll surely talk you into something else.  And if you’re still not sure, then consult Eddy Puss, the cat.  Then come by for a glass of Texas wine and compare your treasure with mine.  (Or purchase a couple of the great gifts we’ve got displayed on those shelves).

Painting

Now that the floors are done, we’ve been busy painting.  I think you’ll enjoy the results.  Big thanks to Stacie, Alisa, Emily and Michelle!  Without their help, we would have never finished!

Come see the color I chose at 841 N. Main St., Salado, TX 76571

Flooring

We thought it would be simple to tear out the carpet in the entry way.  Boy, was I mistaken!  We spent hours removing the carpet, then buffing off as much carpet glue as possible, then finally I used serious chemical adhesive remover.  It was a mess, but worth all the work.  If you need advice how to remove carpet glue, come ask me over a glass of Texas wine.
