the Village of Salado will be dressed up for the holidays during stroll

We are planning to participate in the Salado parade on Thursday, December 4th at 5 and this year we’re hoping to ride an old Vespa!

Then on the weekend, it is time for Christmas Stroll.  There are copious amounts of activities around town and you should find a schedule at www.salado.com. This year we’re excited about the home tours because one of the homes was built by the same builder as built our winery.

As always, we will be open extra hours.  On Friday & Saturday, we’ll be open until 9 pm.  Come by and warm up with a warm glass of kriskindel!

Thankful for RECYCLING!

who drank all that wine?

who drank all that wine?

This is the time to count our blessings and I sure am a lucky one, so I’ve tried to concoct a clever post that would wax poetically about how grateful I am–but I’m just not very good at it.

So instead, I just want to tell you about a simple blessing that has come about in my business this past year.  The great folks at Keep Salado Beautiful and Al Clawson Disposal teamed up and brought single stream curbside recycling to Main Street, Salado,TX!

I love it! Now the empty wine bottles are all recycled along with all of our paper & cardboard.  Thank-You!

Please vote YES for Brewery in Salado

kcentv.com – KCEN HD – Waco, Temple, and Killeen
Yesterday I had the opportunity to talk to KCEN about why I support the latest alcohol initiative on the ballot this November in Salado.  Please be sure to flip the ballot over, find the part where you vote yes, and if you think that there is no beer in Salado, you better join in tonight’s Pub Crawl.
